Evergreen vale and Summerhome
This large valley is nestled in the southern portion of the Iron mountains. The evergreen trees here are unnaturally huge, some reaching as high as 400 feet. It is said to the resting place of the Summerlord, which causes the temperatures in the valley to remain relatively temperate.
Wilden make up the bulk of the Vale’s population, with a few gnomes and Eladrin as well. Despite it beauty and warm weather, Evergreen vale is actually a very treacherous land, as it fiercely protected by the wilden, who guard it against human, dwarven, and orc lumbering interests. Those who enter the Vale without pass from the Druids who protect it can expect a quick and merciless death, as the beasts and plants of this rich forest become enemies.
Those who do visit Summerhome are utterly struck by it’s splendor. The village is literally a part of the trees. Vine bridges and massive branches form a weblike network of natural paths and alleys, while glowing mosses illuminate the nights in soothing yellows and blues. Few places in entire world are as magical as the Vale, or more dangerous.
